Experiencing
authentic rural Jordan is commonly associated with the taste of mansaf. The
succulence of this exceptional feast depends on the art behind its main
ingredient; jameed. In Karak, at a rural backyard and home, you will put on
your Bookagri apron and interact in the process of how goat milk is strained
and transformed into dried jameed balls through a traditional and fun process.
You will also learn about its secret ingredient, the hawayej, containing thirteen
wild herbs collected by the villagers during spring. After processing Jameed balls, you will After
that. observe how mansaf is cooked using the freshly made jameed, then indulge
in eating mansaf with the hospitable family. You will also get the opportunity
to purchase some jameed balls to stock up for yourself and share with family
and friends.
